Starting out on your new barbecue journey can be a bit intimidating and expensive, and although trial, error and practice will be your best bet for learning on the job, it can help to have a basic guide to what you are doing before you light your first fire.
As so many authors have already managed to write great books on the subject, we thought it would be helpful to put together a guide highlighting some of our favourite books on the art of barbecue. We can’t write it any better than these guys already have!
We recommend you try a few different books, and get a feel for the different styles of each pitmaster. After all, there are so many variables and individual techniques, and eventually you will develop your own signature methods.
