What’s new in 2017?

Founded in 2014, the Australasian Barbecue Alliance has quickly become the foremost society developing, promoting and supporting low and slow barbecue in Australia.

Having developed a world-class barbecue competition format which now sees ABA Sanctioned competitions in most States across Australia and also in New Zealand in 2017, continuous improvement is still a keen focus for the organisation.

After sanctioning and running more than 20 barbecue competitions across the country and catering to the rapid and exponential growth of the sport, the ABA has combined member feedback, real-world experience and foresight into bringing new and innovative initiatives to the 2017 season.

The ABA is proud to announce these new initiatives in the form of an ‘2017 Updates – Guide’.

Being an inclusive organisation and always encouraging people from all backgrounds to get involved in the movement, there’s more opportunities to do so now and throughout 2017.
