The third Meatstock in the trilogy for 2017 was a massive weekend and certainly lived up to the hype and expectations.

50 teams competed across the weekend in a total of 7 categories, including the first-ever ABA Sanctioned Whole Hog Competition which was also Round 13 of the Barbecues Galore Australian Barbecue Championships.

The Smoking Jokers made it three Grand Championships from their last three outings and Rollin Smoke put in a stellar effort for the Reserve Grand Championship.

TexAus BBQ took out the first-ever Whole Hog Competition with a stunning display and a stellar hand in box which really impressed the judges including Hillbilly Wes and Big Moe Cason with Manning Valley Natural Smokers, runners up.

A huge shout to Jay Beaumont and Simon Luke and their army of awesome volunteers for laying down another excellent event and broader festival.
