Round 22 of the Barbeques Galore Australian Barbecue Championships saw the fourth-annual Bangalow BBQ & Bluegrass Festival host many of Australia’s best in the total of 51 competing teams.

Rollin Smoke BBQ were the victors in Round 22, picking up their maiden Grand Championship and were too strong for the in-form Smoking Jokers finishing with the pink sash and the Reserve Grand Championship.
With just 8 events left on Australian soil this year, teams have limited opportunities to secure valuable Championship Series points with most comps nearing or at capacity. Some may have to check out the Jack Daniel’s NZ National Championship Series if they want to pick up some late points.
